Linda M. Gogolin

Linda M. Gogolin, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024 after a brief illness, with family and friends by her side.

Linda was born in Cambridge, MA on April 28, 1946, to Robert T. and Helen J. ( “Jo”) Gogolin, , and grew up in Maynard, MA. The eldest of three children, Linda is survived by her sisters Julie (Cliff) Malkin and Roberta Kosek, two nieces and a nephew. She is also survived by her former husband, Joseph Cours of PA.

Linda Lived in Falmouth, MA for many years, where she worked at various jobs in the town. She was then employed by Digital Equipment Corporation for 19 years. She was an alumni of the Nashua Police Department Citizen Academy. Inspired by that experience, she volunteered for the Nashua Police Department, helping to organize and digitize hundreds of photographs.

Linda loved animals, especially cats. She adopted and fostered several cats throughout her lifetime, volunteering for many years with Kitty Angels. She enjoyed being a canoe and kayak trip leader, as well as traveling, for both business and pleasure. Her travels took her to England, Poland, Russia and other European countries.

Linda is grateful to her many friends for the immense help and support they provided during her illness, as well as the doctors and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services are planned.
