Raymond Robert Russell, Jr.

Raymond Robert Russell, Jr., 56, of Hudson, New Hampshire passed away tragically on August 24, 2024 doing what he loved: riding his Harley. He was born on April 23, 1968 in Saugus, Massachusetts, son of the late Raymond Robert Russell Sr. and Jean Patricia (McCormack) Russell. Ray was a graduate of Alvirne High School, Class of 1986.

Ray was employed by R & L Carriers for 13 years as a Dispatch Manager. He was an avid Bruins and Patriots fan. On game days, you would often find him seated in his recliner, surrounded by friends and family, eagerly awaiting kickoff or puck drop. He was a member of the Rising Sun Lodge #39, Free & Accepted Masons in Nashua, NH. His favorite activities were cookouts with his family and friends and riding his Harley. Ray had immense pride for his children and grandchildren and was adamant that they were his success story.

In addition to his parents, Ray was predeceased by a sister, Donna Lee.

Survivors include his sons, Ryan Russell and his wife Kristen of Fair Haven, VT; Robert Russell and his wife Nicole of Hudson, NH; and his daughter, Lindsay Merlina and her husband Michael of North Reading, MA; his grandchildren, Jacob, Sophia, Alexis, Olivia, and Nora; his sisters, Cindy St. Amant and her husband Glen of Claremont, NH and Kristen Ricard and her husband Scott of Nashua, NH; Ray’s significant other, Amy Wybert of Milford, NH; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, including his lifelong best friend, Rick White and his wife Jen of Nashua, NH.

The family requests that you wear your favorite Boston sports attire to the services.

SERVICES: Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 3pm to 7pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11am at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua. Those planning an expression are asked to consider a donation to: Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (CHaD) at One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756.
