Keith Christiansen

Keith Christiansen, 78, of Lowell, passed away peacefully at home August 9, 2024 after a long struggle with cancer. Keith was born November 2,1945 in New London, Connecticut to Henry and Delores Christiansen and raised in Hudson, New Hampshire. He graduated from Alvirne High School in Hudson and in 1964 married Carol Rock, the mother of his children Hollie and Hans. He worked for many years in New Hampshire as a surveyor, eventually leaving his beloved New Hampshire and relocating to Vermont in 1994 to marry Daphne Dolan and create a wonderful homestead in Lowell. After moving to Vermont Keith worked many years in

construction as a layout man, committed to hard work, excellence and mentoring younger workers.

Keith was an avid hunter, expert marksman and caretaker of the natural world. He was a man of good humor, wit, and integrity, with many friends and enduring relationships.

He was predeceased by his father, Henry, his mother Delores, and this stepmother, Lori, who raised Keith as her own.

Keith is survived by his wife Daphne, his daughter Hollie and her husband Brent of Fort Worth, Texas, his son Hans and his wife Kimberly of Nashua, New Hampshire, Daphne’s sons Peter Dudley and wife Deborah of Ulster Park, New York and Michael Dudley and wife Phyllis of Morgan Vermont, and three brothers, Thomas Bruce of Rhode Island, Gary, and his wife Kris, of Hudson, New Hampshire, and Bruce, and his wife Donna, of Claremont, New Hampshire, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
