Kevin A. Duhamel
Kevin A. Duhamel, 61, lifelong resident of Nashua, NH died Sunday July 21, 2024 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a long illness.
He was born in Nashua, NH on Aug. 22, 1962, a son of the late Maurice P. Duhamel and R. Claire (Fournier) Duhamel Muldoon.
Kevin attended Nashua schools and graduated from Hollis High School and Keene State College.
Kevin had been employed in the security department at Anheuser – Busch in Merrimack before becoming employed at Memorial Hospital, now Southern NH Medical Center. He was employed at Southern NH Medical Center for over 20 years where he was the Director of Security Services until 2011. He also served as an advocate for the American Kidney Fund with whom he traveled to Capitol Hill and was successful in passing important legislation to help kidney patients in 2016.
In addition to his parents, he is pre-deceased by a sister Brenda Duhamel and a brother Mark Duhamel.
Members of his surviving family include four brothers, Norman, Claude, Bruce, and Bryan Duhamel, and a sister Donna Dionne; an aunt, Pauline Laycock; a longtime companion, Louise Lemieux; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and kidney donor, Victor Ng.
There are no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held at a future time to be announced.
