Patricia E. Purcell

Patricia E. Purcell, 77, longtime resident of Merrimack, NH passed away on July 17th, 2024, at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown after a period of declining health.

She was born in Lynn, MA on July 17th, 1947, to the late Albert and Adeline (LeGault) LaPorte. Raised in Windham, NH, she graduated from Pinkerton Academy.

Patricia worked as an admin assistant for St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for many years until her retirement in 2012.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Dubois.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James Purcell; a sister, Shirley and her Husband Glen; a brother-in-law, John Purcell and his wife Robin; a brother-in-law Cliff DuBois; a step daughter Carrie Rigoli and her children Jake, Michaela, and Matthew; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial visitation will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, on Monday July 29th, 2024, from 4 – 7 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church located at 16 Baboosic Lake Rd in Merrimack on Tuesday July 30th, 2024, at 9:30 AM with a burial to follow at Last Rest Cemetery.
