Marjorie Louise (Fissette) Lovejoy

Marjorie Louise (Fissette) Lovejoy, 88, died Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in her residence in Nashua, NH. She was born January 17, 1936, to parents George and Alice (Smith) Fissette. She was married to Robert E. Lovejoy and enjoyed almost 33 years of marriage before his passing in 2009.

Marjorie was a graduate of Nashua High School and Nashua Business College. She went on to work for Nim-Cor Inc. for 44 years. She was proud of her work and treasured the relationships she had made over the years. She was also a member of Arlington St United Methodist Church and served as a treasurer for 7 years. Marjorie enjoyed reading, gardening, baking, and camping. She loved cats and was a proud Scout Mom. She supported her son in all his endeavors.

Marjorie is predeceased by her siblings. She is survived by her son Chris Lovejoy of Elk Grove Village, IL, brother Robert Fissette of Amherst, NH, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Marcus. SERVICES: Visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 11-1 pm at The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH. A service will immediately follow at 1 pm. The procession will lead to Evergreen Cemetery, 391 Main St, Nashua, NH, for internment. Family and friends are invited to attend.
