Dora Almira (Duhamel) Griswold

Ayer, MA – Dora Almira (Duhamel) Griswold, 87, passed away on June 29, 2024 in Ayer, Massachusetts. Dora was born in Morrisville, Vermont on September 26, 1936 to Arthur and Edith Duhamel. She was raised on their family farm in Cady’s Falls. She attended People’s Academy and later worked at the courthouse in Hyde Park, Vermont. She moved to Nashua, New Hampshire and worked in the HR department of the Greenbrier Nursing Home.

Dora is predeceased by her husband Harold Griswold and brother Paul Duhamel. She is survived by her four sons Robert (Marie) Griswold, Michael (Debbie) Griswold, Arthur (Tania) Griswold and Shawn Griswold. She is also survived by her sister Audrey (David) Varga. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Paul (Mary) Griswold and sister-in-law Mary Lou Hamel.

Arrangements are in the care of Lamoille Funeral Home in Morrisville, Vermont. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 5th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at Perkins Parker Funeral Home, 48 South Main Street in Waterbury Vermont. Burial will take place on Saturday, July 6th at 1:00pm at the Mountainview cemetery in Morristown, Vermont.
