Robert “Bob” P. Dion
Robert “Bob” P. Dion, 68, of Nashua, New Hampshire died at Southern NH Medical Center on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Bob was a lifelong Nashua resident, born to the late State Representative and Alderman, Robert A. Dion and his wife, Jacqueline (Andrews) Dion, on March 30, 1956. He attended Nashua public schools, and graduated Nashua High School in 1974.
Bob worked at Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack as a General Foreman, and for the City of Nashua in the Public Works Department. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved exploring the lakes of New Hampshire and Ontario. He holds the state record for bagging a trophy moose in New Hampshire, it was 65″ tip to tip, rack. Bob held his Captain’s License and was life-long member of the Nashua Elks Club, for 46 years, as well as the former Club National.
He was a diehard Red Sox fan, loved to play cards and listen to Frank Sinatra. He will be kept alive by his loved ones, including his son Peter Dion, of Nashua and his best friend Michael Sakelaris, and his wife Jeannette.
A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer at Nashua Elks Lodge in Nashua by the family.
