Phyllis Lepine

Jun 13, 2024

Phyllis Lepine (née Glenister), 71, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, June 5, 2024, following a prolonged illness. Phyllis was born on July 18, 1952, at Fort Lee, Virginia to the late Robert and Janet Glenister. She grew up in Connecticut but has been a long-time resident of Nashua, New Hampshire after moving here with her family and grandmother in 1985.

A loving wife, mother, and friend, Phyllis possessed a generous spirit that made the lives of all around her better. She made time to really speak with those who needed support, whether a family member, coworker, or acquaintance.

She spent several years working as a volunteer at St. Christopher School and Nashua Catholic Junior High where she discovered she truly enjoyed working in schools. While working as the Business Manager at World Academy, she took particular joy in meeting and helping the children and their families. She also supported a major expansion that allowed the school to serve a wider range of students.

Her love of children extended from her own sons to her grandchildren and the many honorary family members who had entered her home as friends. In all parts of her life, Phyllis shared her wonderful sense of humor, her love of dancing, her talent for organization and decoration especially at Christmas and Valentine’s Day, and her big bear hugs. Her smile and laughter were infectious and could set a room alight. She is well-known among the hospitality community in and around Nashua with whom she shared many wonderful hours, food and beverage, and stories and friendship. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Normand, with whom she celebrated her 44th anniversary on Valentine’s Day this year; her son André with his wife Anita and grandchildren Gavin and Eva; her son Byron with his partner Samantha Rogers; her brother Bill with his wife Barbara; her sister- and brother-in-law Pauline and Bill McCoubrey; her brother- and sister-in-law Roger and Liz Lepine; several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews with their children.

SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours, but the family will host a Celebration of Life later this summer. Details will be provided through the Davis Funeral Home website as they become available. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those wishing to honor Phyllis consider donating to the St. Joseph Hospital Cancer Center in Nashua. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. An online guest book is available at www.davisfuneralhomenh.com, (603-883-3401) “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER”.
