Eleanor Phaneuf

Eleanor Phaneuf was born on Nov 14, 1929, in Nashua NH and died on May 16, 2024, at the age of 94 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. She spent her last nine years living at Fairview Senior Living in Hudson, NH.

A lifelong resident of Nashua NH Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Albert and Lorraine (Stanton) Phaneuf and four siblings and their spouses: Albertine (William) Wicher, Claire (Ralph) Boucher, Constance (Laval) Tremblay, Albert (Pauline) Phaneuf; and her brother-in-law Roland Ravenelle.

She is survived by her sister Janile Ravenelle of Windham NH and numerous nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was a kind soul, known for her knowledge and outstanding memory of family history; she could remember stories going back to the era of her great-grandparents while still keeping up-to-date with her family’s latest comings and goings.

She enjoyed playing bingo, listening to musical performances, and chatting with staff at Fairview. When younger, Eleanor loved to walk everywhere and hardly slowed down even when she was required to use a walker.

Her family would like to especially thank the staff of Fairview Senior Living in Hudson, NH for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Eleanor throughout the years.

SERVICES: A burial will take place at St Francis Xavier Cemetery, 32 Pinehill Ave, Nashua, NH, privately and will be held at the convenience of the family.
