Jacqueline Lesieur Maynard (February 5, 1931- May 2, 2024).

Jacqueline Lesieur Maynard, age 93, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on May 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughter Nancy Lamb and family. Born in Nashua to Leo and Jeannette Lesieur, Jacqueline was a lifelong resident and an exemplary student. She graduated from Nashua High School and furthered her education at Rivier College, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Education in 1952. A natural leader, Jacqueline was a member of the Athletic Club and Christian Club, and served as the Treasurer of the International Club. She later earned a Master’s degree from Fitchburg State University.

Jacqueline dedicated 35 years to educating elementary students in the Nashua School District, influencing lives at Arlington Street, Ledge Street, and Sunset Heights Schools. Upon retirement, she reflected, “If I had to do it all over again, I would still be a teacher.”

Predeceased by her parents, Leo and Jeannette Lesieur; her beloved son, Gordon “Sput” Maynard; brothers, Leo “Mike” and Roland “Rolie” Lesieur and his wife Ellie; sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Madeline Gingras; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Warren and Camille Maynard. Jacqueline loved her family deeply. Her legacy continues through her daughter, Nancy (Gary) Lamb; grandchildren, Marissa (Chris) Halvatzes, Jimmy (Lindsay) Lamb, Erika Maynard, and Rebekah Maynard-McGuire; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kyle Halvatzes, Dominik and Emersyn Lamb, Lexi and Myles McGuire; sister-in-law, Elinor Lesieur; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loyal friends.

Jacqueline was a pillar of kindness and an inspiration to all who knew her. Her life was a testament to the importance of unconditional love and support for others.

Jacqueline’s memory will be forever cherished and honored by all who had the privilege to know her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jacqueline’s Funeral Mass on Monday, May 13th at 10 AM in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 777 W Hollis St, Nashua, NH 03062. Kindly meet at church. Interment will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Nashua. Arrangements entrusted to the care of ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua.
