Amber May Castonguay Martin

May 3, 2024

Amber May Castonguay Martin, born February 22, 1976, in Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by her husband and family on April 19, 2024, in Naples, Florida

She bravely battled breast cancer for 12 1/2 years and showed more courage and grace than seemed humanly possible

As a teenager, Amber loved cheerleading, and strove for perfection in all she did. She had a way of lighting up every room she entered. She enjoyed college life at the University of Florida and then her work life at GL Homes, where her ability to multitask and pivot in any situation proved to be a great asset to the company.

When people mentioned her name, the most frequently used phrases were thoughtful, beautiful, courageous, and brave, a positive force, and a bright light.

She met her husband Jonathan Peter Martin while both were solo traveling in the Galapagos Islands.

They dated via long distance for two years and then married in 2011. They lived in Fort Lauderdale and Boynton Beach, finally settling in Naples six years ago. They had two fur babies who were truly family.

In addition to her beloved husband Jon, Amber is survived by her parents, Michael and Ann

(Labombarde) Castonguay of Estero, Florida, her brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Deb Castonguay and their sons, Cameron and Zachary Castonguay, all of Nashua, New Hampshire, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The celebration of life for the NH friends and family will be June 2024, exact date to be announced later.
