Catherine Louise (Cote) Wynne

Catherine Louise (Cote) Wynne, aged 71, from Nashua, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. Born on September 4, 1952, in Nashua, she was the daughter of the late Peter R. Cote and Lorraine (Heroux) Cote. She was the spouse of the late Wayne Wynne, who passed away in 2014.

Cathy spent her formative years in Nashua and attended Mount Saint Mary’s High School. She pursued higher education at the NH Technical Institute in Concord and at the Holy Ghost School of Nursing in Cambridge, MA.

In the early years of her nursing career she worked at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA then relocated to San Diego California to continue her career at Scripps Memorial Hospital and later at Sharp Rees-Stealy. It was there that she met her husband, Wayne. They exchanged vows in San Francisco on July 14, 1984.

Throughout her life and later in retirement, Cathy found joy in quilting and was an active member of the Canyon Quilters in San Diego.

Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Lorraine, her spouse Wayne, and Helen T. Cote, who raised her since 1961 after the passing of her mother Lorraine.

She is survived by her siblings: Thomas Cote and his wife Lise, Peter Cote and his wife Kathleen, Maureen Dumais, and James Cote, along with aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
