Julia Pitarys

Julia Pitarys, 95, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at the Courville at Nashua. She was born February 8, 1929 in Nashua, daughter of the late James and Maria Couronis. Julia was also predeceased by her husband; Aristides Pitarys in 1988, her son in law; Richard Rioux in 2006, as well as by all ten of her brothers and sisters.

Julia was the owner of Hudson True Value for many years and loved serving the community as well as talking with her customers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and family was the most important thing in her life.

Her loving family includes a daughter; Cynthia Rioux of Nashua, a grandson; Gregory Rioux and his wife Alexandra of Merrimack, NH, a grandson; Nicholas Rioux and his wife Maura of Grafton, MA, four great-granddaughters; Kali Rioux and Elise Rioux of Merrimack, NH , Olivia Rioux and Charlotte Rioux of Grafton, MA as well as two sisters in law; Helen Dabilis and Marlene Couronis.

The family also like to thank the staff at Courville at Nashua for the wonderful care they provided Julia.

All services are private. A memorial mass will be held in St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church in Nashua at a later date.
