Camille Genevieve (Bernier) Boisseau

Camille Genevieve (Bernier) Boisseau, 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Courville Nursing Home in Nashua. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles Boisseau with whom she shared 45 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1996.

Camille was born in Nashua on December 12, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Bernier and Delima (Vallee-Bernier) Cassista. She was a lifelong resident of Nashua, 65 years in French Hill and received her education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 1943.

For 22 years, she proudly worked as the secretary for the Nashua School System until her retirement.

In her free time, Camille was an associate member of the Nashua Area Retired Teachers Association, Senior Activity Center and AARP. She was an avid reader, loved listening to music, doing crosswords puzzles and watching her favorite soap operas. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed watching the Lawrence Welk performers and listening to Andre Rieu. Above all, her most cherished time was spent with her family who she loved deeply.

Camille is survived by her son Denis Boisseau and his wife Deborah; her grandson, Steven Wiggett and his wife Pamela; as well as her great-grandchildren, Megan and Zachery, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by daughter Denise Wiggett and her husband Raymond, her step-sister, Annette Smith.
