Mildred S. Sylvester

Mildred S. Sylvester, 97, resident of Amherst, NH, died on April 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 29, 1926 in Pepperell, MA, the daughter of Lester Stewart and Gertrude (Wright) Stewart. Mildred was raised and educated in Pepperell, having graduated from Pepperell High School, Class of 1944.

She was a longtime employee of Pepperell Braiding Company, Pepperell, MA.

Mildred was predeceased by her husbands, Edmond J. Silver, Sr. Charles W. Sylvester, and her daughter, Deborah Walters.

Family members include her son and daughter-in-law, Edmond J. Silver and Diane C. Silver of Gilford, NH; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 12th at 12:00pm in the Pepperell Cemetery, 8 Park Street, Pepperell, MA. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.
