Paul George Labrecque

Paul George Labrecque, 92, died peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 10, 2024 with his wife by his side. He is the beloved husband of Joan (Jambard) Labrecque (the love of his life) with whom he shared 71 years of marriage. They were married, July 5th, 1952.

Paul was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 9, 1931 and was the son of the late Armand Labrecque and Olivette (Landry) Labrecque-Lavalle. He received his education at St. Louis de Gonzague and Brothers of the Sacred Heart Schools.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War until he was honorably discharged.

For most of his career, he was employed as a mechanic at Rousseau’s Oil in Nashua. Following his retirement, he worked part time as a driver for Sanel Auto Parts delivering parts.

In his free time, he enjoyed leisurely rides, especially to the White Mountains and York Beach, Maine. He also loved to travel with his wife to various destinations, Aruba was their favorite.

Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family who he loved deeply. He was a man of few words, but had a way of making you smile, by teasing and pranking everyone. Even at the end of his life, he was still trying to make you laugh.

In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by his five children, Donald Labrecque of Merrimack, Raymond Labrecque and his significant other Lisa Oulette of Nashua, Peter Labrecque and his wife Mary of Nashua, Paula Maschmeier and her husband Jay of Nashua and Lisa Balam and her husband Bill of Lyndeborough, NH; his six grandchildren, Joy Lefevre, Paul Labrecque, Amber Labrecque, Kayla Jones and her husband Nate, Cori Balam and Lexi Balam; as well as his great-grandchildren, Sawyer Lefevre and Jayden Jones. Paul is also survived by his close friend Donald Pare of Merrimack and his two nephews, Craig and Kyle Labrecque.

Paul was predeceased by his brother, Robert Labrecque and his grandson Justin Labrecque.

Relatives and friends are invited to Paul’s visitation on April 4th, at Rochette Funeral Home, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua from 9:30 until 10:30 AM. His Funeral Mass will follow in St. Louis de Gonzague Church, 48 West Hollis Street, Nashua, at 11 AM. Interment to take place in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Paul’s name to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
