Christopher William Howe

Mar 26, 2024

Christopher William Howe died unexpectedly from heart disease at the age of 52 on March 15th 2024 in Colorado Springs, CO where he lived for the past 3 years.

Chris was born in Nashua, NH on September 10th 1971 to Gary and Cynthia Howe. He grew up and went to school in Merrimack, NH, graduating from Merrimack High School in 1990. Shortly after graduation, he joined the US Marines where he served for 4 years. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California and after leaving the Marine Corps decided to make his home out west. He lived in Southern California for most of the last 20 years, working as an Alarm Technician. During that time, he met his fiancé, Sandra Martinez, with whom he made his home. They moved to Colorado Springs in 2021, where he joined the ADT team and made many friends there. He inherited his father’s gift of working with his hands and was a valuable member of their team.

Chris was a fun loving man with a gregarious personality. He was well known for his Sling Blade impression as well as his “over the top” Boston accent. He was an avid football and basketball fan and a diehard NE Patriots, and Celtics supporter. No one knew more stats about the Patriots and Celtics than Chris, except perhaps Sandra. Together they enjoyed watching the games every year.

Chris was also an amazing dad to his son Tate. They shared so many good times while Tate was growing up. Tate was one of the main reasons Chris decided to make his home in California. Chris and Sandra spent many days at Tate’s soccer and rugby games as well as camping and fun trips around California. He leaves a giant hole in his family and will be sorely missed.

Chris is survived by his fiancé Sandra Martinez and his son Tate Tinoco from Southern California. He is also survived by his mother, Cynthia Woessner and her husband Michael from Westford, MA, as well as his two older brothers Alan and his wife Jayne from Exeter, NH and Robert from Tewksbury, MA. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews including Michael, Molly, Caroline, Abbey and Samuel. He was predeceased by his father Gary Howe.

There will be a celebration of Chris’s life planned for his California family and another for his NH family at a future date. The specifics of the NH celebration, anticipated for sometime in May, will be shared on his mom’s Facebook page.
