Marie M. (Fournier) Hardy, 76, was brought home to her Messiah and King on Thursday, December 7, 2023, in Nashua, NH, with loving family around her after her battle with brain cancer. She was born June 3, 1947, in St. Johnsbury, VT.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister, and a kind and generous friend. She was an active member of Light of the World Ministries in Nashua.

Marie graduated in 1965 from St. Johnsbury Academy in Vermont. She had a lengthy career as a hair stylist and color expert. She was employed for over 20 years at Cassandra Salon and Spa in Nashua.

She is survived by her brother, Thomas Fournier (Deborah); sisters Claire Iby and Rachel Reeder (Jeffrey), and longtime “sister” friend Cindy Nickerson; nieces and nephews Clinton Fournier (Tanya), Brandy Alfieri, Jeffrey (JT) Alfieri, Daniel Iby and April Reeder-McLain (Corey).

She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Reginald Hardy, her son Rob Hardy, and parents Jeanne and Francis Fournier.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for later in 2024.
