Philip J. “Phil” Ritter
Philip J. “Phil” Ritter, 74, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Courville Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Ann (Lessard) Ritter with whom he shared 35 years of marriage.
Phil was born in Concord, New Hampshire on May 24, 1949, and was the son of the late Maurice and Ethel (Wexler) Ritter. He attended schools in the Concord School District and was a graduate of Concord High School.
In the early years of his career, he was employed as a grocery manager for Ferretti’s in Manchester for over 20 years. Following Ferretti’s, he worked in sales at MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua for almost 30 years. Most recently, he enjoyed his part-time job at Enterprise Car Rental, transporting cars to and from local airports.
In his free time, Phil loved spending time outdoors from deep sea fishing to maintaining a perfectly manicured yard. He had a love for music, especially the oldies, and was quite talented at playing any kind of trivia. Phil will be missed by many and remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and the wonderful stories he told. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family, especially his pets.
In addition to his wife, Ann, he is survived by his five children, Christopher Ritter and his wife Savannah, Meredith Sullivan and her husband Joey, Aaron Ritter and his wife Ivonne, David Ritter and his fiancé Jena, and Ben Ritter; he is also survived by his three grandchildren, Delaney, Alex, and Marisa as well as many close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Phil’s visitation on MONDAY, February 26th from 5 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His interment will be held privately. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.ANCTIL-ROCHETTE.com
