Monty Christopher Hays

Monty Christopher Hays, 75 of Nashua, passed away Wednesday, February 14th 2024 from natural causes. He is predeceased by Lillie B. Hays (mother) and Threshia D. Hays (sister). He is survived by Alan Hays of California (brother), Lana Denaro of Auburn, New Hampshire (niece), and Shane Johnston of Arizona (nephew) along with Shane’s wife Tiffany Johnston. Monty, or “Uncle Chris” as he was called, left behind two great nieces Julia and Olivia Denaro and great nephew Logan Johnston.

He was loved by many, including long term friends and extended family who called him dad and grandpa. His love for sports, especially the Boston Bruins, and playing card games with friends at the “hobo tent” were his favored forms of entertainment. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Monty chose to be donated to science through the Experience Anatomy foundation. There are no services at this time, for he wanted no funeral. His family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
