Beverly Ann Gendron
Beverly Ann Gendron, 92, passed away at the Studley Home in Rochester, NH on February 14th. Formerly of Nashua, where she lived with her husband Ronald for 60 years raising their family.
Beverly was born in Bingham, Maine, on March 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Florence (Whitten) Leary. She grew up in Boston, MA, one of eight children in a very close family. Beverly was very active in sports in high school, being the captain of her basketball team (she always said she invented the hook shot!) as well as playing softball. After high school, Beverly worked for the telephone company and shortly after she met the love of her life, Ronald, at Moseley’s on the Charles Ballroom. Beverly and Ronald went on to raise a family of 5, family was everything to them. Beverly wouldn’t hesitate to say hello to anyone. She had an outgoing, gregarious personality and beautiful smile, she was the one everyone gravitated to. Beverly and Ronald enjoyed being snowbirds of Winter Haven Florida for 25 years.
Beverly is predeceased by her loving husband Ronald, her granddaughter Jessica Gendron, her brothers, Donald Leary, Raymond Leary, Arnold Leary, Fred Leary, and Harold Leary.
Beverly is survived by three sons, Laurence of Strafford NH, Gregory & his wife Marianne of Sarasota, FL, Thomas & his wife Linda of Goffstown NH. Daughters Susan & her husband Dennis of Mont Vernon NH, and Mary & her husband Scott of Strafford, NH. Her grandchildren, Nicholas, Allyssa, Amanda, Abby, and Tyler. She also leaves one sister Margaret Leary of Nashua, NH, and her brother Roger Leary & his wife Lois of Henderson, NV and several nieces and nephews. Beverly also leaves behind her best friend Eleanor Garboski & her husband Dennis of Bedford, NH.
Beverly had a very special bond with her private caregivers, who loved and cared for her for several years right up to her death. We would like to acknowledge Shannon, Kaleigh, Rachel, Caitlin, Barbara, Paula, and Kim as well as the loving staff at the Studley Home. We would also like to thank her primary physician of 35 years, Dr. Mitchell Cohen, for his kind and compassion care.
