David Forrest Jasper

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of David Forrest Jasper, age 77, of Pepperell, MA, who died on February 7, 2024, after a brief illness.
He was born in Nashua in 1946, the son of Forrest and Arlene Jasper, and grew up on the large family poultry farm in Amherst, NH. He was a 1964 graduate of Milford High School and later, a graduate of Thompson School of Agriculture at UNH. He established his home in Amherst, marrying his sweetheart Cynthia Cook in 1969, and co-managed the Jasper Poultry Farm until assuming ownership in 1973.
In addition to his former wife Cynthia Jasper of Hudson, NH, David is survived by four children, Andrew Jasper and partner Amanda Stinson of Nashua, NH; Joseph Jasper and wife Shiho Jasper of Tokyo, Japan; Amy Jasper of Oakland, CA; Leah Willingham of Charleston, WV; and his four grandchildren: Juno Jasper, Kono Jasper, William Jasper Hwang, and Phoebe Jasper Hwang.
David will be missed by his brother Lawrence Jasper and his wife Elizabeth of Milford, NH; nieces Christine diBattista and Jennifer Ross; nephews Matthew Jasper and Nathaniel Jasper, along with their families and loved ones.
He leaves behind cousins Shawn Jasper and wife Laurie of Hudson, NH; Maria VanderWoude of Loudon, NH; Gregg Jasper of Cathedral City, CA; James Jasper and wife Anne of Wilton, NH; Susan Wright and husband Richard of Loudon, NH, as well as his aunt Reita Jasper of Hudson, NH, and his dear friend Susan Mann of Charlemont, MA.
The family wishes to express their great appreciation for the excellent care David received from his doctors and nurses and all who attended to his medical care while at St. Joseph’s Hospital ER and Intensive Care Unit in Nashua. Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
