Steve Richard Doyon

Steve Richard Doyon passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 16, 2024, after a long battle with alcoholism.

He was born June 17, 1968 in Nashua NH, son of Pierre and Ginette Doyon. Steve loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending summertime on his grandfather’s farm in Canada as a child, helping with the chores and feeding the animals. He was also fond of riding four wheelers and working large farm tractors and equipment. He met his former wife at NH Technical College in Nashua and were married in 1990. Steve worked over 30 years with the Painters & Allied Trades DC 35 Union as a drywall finisher throughout the Boston area and retired in 2023.

Steve is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer and Sarah Doyon and his former wife of 30 years, Debra: his brother, Carl Doyon and his wife, Julie and their 3 daughters all from Merrimack NH and his mother, Ginette Doyon, of Nashua NH. Steve will always be remembered as a guy with an easy laugh and a great sense of humor, although sometimes naughty. His quick wit is what most people will remember Steve for.

Calling hours will be on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5 – 8pm at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH. A private committal service will be held in the Mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua at the convenience of the family.
