Bruce Rountree, Sr. of Amherst, NH, passed away on January 9, 2024 of a lengthy illness, at Courville at Nashua in Nashua, NH.

Bruce was born on May 14, 1936 in Mt Pleasant, Michigan, the son of Dorothy Bowen and Elton Rountree.

He is a retired Navy Veteran of 21 years. Bruce retired from Southern NH Health after 46 years of employment in the engineering dept. as a Boilerman/Hospital Locksmith.

He also has done volunteer instruction for the State of NH Hunter Education program for over 30 years. Bruce was a member of the Hudson Fish & Game Club in Hudson, NH where he served as a past president.

He leaves behind a wife of 42 years of marriage “Christine”. He us also survived by his children, Ron Edmond and Christine, Cindy Edmonds of Wisconsin, Bruce Rountree, Jr, Grace, Sandy, Jason Roy all of Nashua, NH, James Rountree of Auburn, NH, brothers, Donald Fuller and Susan of Mt Pleasant, MI, Bliss Allison & Sally, Carl & Sandra Fuller, sister, Donna Wallace all of Port Charlotte, FL, as well as 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held for Bruce with the immediate family only. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life for Bruce on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Hudson Fish & Game Club, 53 Pine St. Hudson, NH from 12 pm – 4 pm.
