Arthur Morrison
Arthur Morrison, 92, passed away after a brief illness on January 9, 2024 at his daughter’s residence in Clermont, FL. He was born to the late George and Ernestine Morrison on December 16, 1931, in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he also grew up.
Arthur was a Korean War veteran, and post-service to our country, he had a lifetime career in management in the automobile industry. He was a resident of Nashua and Amherst for 40+ years. After the passing of his wife Claire, he moved to Buford, GA with his daughter Lauren (Ellie) for a short time then to an Independent Living apartment home in Clermont, FL near his daughter Charlotte. He was an extremely outgoing person who is being remembered as a kind and thoughtful person with a great sense of humor.
Arthur is survived by his daughters Sharon Whalen, Charlotte Cloutier, and Lauren James, his brothers James Morrison and Robert Morrison, as well as three stepchildren, 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Claire Morrison; his former wife, Anna Lee Gross, mother of his four children; his son, Arthur Morrison Jr.; and nine siblings.
Arthur will be interned at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
