Brian Edward Stevens, 48, of Hudson, NH died on December 27, 2023, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC as a result of chronic rejection of a lung transplant. He was born on July 10, 1975, in Greenfield, MA. He is the son of Daniel R. and Joyce Davis Stevens of Auburndale, Florida formerly of Bristol, NH.

Brian was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age 3, received a successful double lung transplant at Duke University Hospital in May 2014 and was grateful for the extra 9 ½ years that the lung transplant afforded him.

Brian became very passionate about hiking, gardening, and woodworking. He has made beautiful picture frames, cornhole boards, cutting boards and other various projects. He enjoyed playing cornhole, pickleball, watching sports and spending time at the beach. In 2018, Brian was part of Team New England at the Transplant Games of America in Utah, where he won a silver medal for cornhole.

Besides his parents, he leaves his wife of 19 years, Aimee LeShane Stevens, two sons, Luke and Kyrin and his favorite walking companion, his dog, Leia. He leaves a brother, Kevin (Jessica) of New Hampton, as well as, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

To honor Brian’s memory, there will be an open house celebration on Saturday, January 13, 2024, between 1-4pm in the function room at Luk’s Bar and Grill, 142 Lowell Road, Hudson, NH. Anyone who knew Brian is invited to stop by and remember his wonderful life.
