Greenland – Walter O Lang, 98, passed away after a short illness on December 8, 2023. Born on November 17, 1925, in Pittsburgh PA. Preceded by the love of his life, wife, Martha. Walter was a WWII Corsair Carrier Pilot. Member Greenland, NH Veterans. Founder of Lang’s Landscape 1949. Great pride in his many sons and daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Past member Nashua Country Club.

Services: Visitation will be from 2-6PM on Friday December 15, 2023 at J Verne Wood Funeral Home – Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad Street, Portsmouth. A funeral will be held at 10AM on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church, 472 Ocean Road Portsmouth with Reverend Donald Gum, officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, 990 Middle Road, Portsmouth 12:30PM with full military honors. A reception will follow at 3 PM at the Greenland Congregational Church Parish House, 44 Post Road Greenland, (Next to Library), parking at school. Heartfelt Thanks to Harborside Hospice.
