Sheila A. McLaughlin

Sheila A. McLaughlin, 88, of Nashua, widow of Robert M. McLaughlin, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, December 3, 2023 in Jaffrey, NH.

Mrs. McLaughlin was born in Nashua on August 19, 1935, the daughter of the late John H. and Patricia (Stead) Aksilowicz. She was educated in the Nashua School System and graduated from Nashua High School Class of 1953. Sheila furthered her education at Chandler Secretarial School in Boston, MA, graduating with the Class of 1955.

Sheila and her husband Robert were married November 3, 1956 and shared 44 years together until his passing on February 20, 2001. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Craig J. McLaughlin and his wife Debora, and Eric K. McLaughlin and his wife Melissa; four grandchildren, Kyle McLaughlin and his fiancée Alana, Alec McLaughlin, Ethan McLaughlin and his fiancée, April Neeb, and Natalie McLaughlin; her cousin, Carol McAllister of Raymond, NH, whom she considered in many ways as her sister. Sheila is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua on Saturday, December 16th beginning at 9:30 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Private interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
