Frank (Roland) Sandock

Frank (Roland) Sandock, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Cedar Healthcare in Portsmouth. Born on March 3, 1937 in Dover, Roland was the son of the late Athony and Marie (Vermette) Sandock. A true Dover native, Frank graduated from Dover High in 1955 where he was a member of the Dover Basketball Green Wave. He earned Bachelors in Political Science and Education at UNH and went on to obtain his Masters in Education Administration from Plymouth University. Having taught in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont Frank worked for 20 years as a Technical Writer with Raytheon. Frank’s love was writing and along with publishing plays in the 1980’s had his novel, Hundred Dollar Bills, published in 2015. Along with his parents, and siblings, Frank is preceded in death by his son, Jarrod Sandock. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Justin Sandock, of Seattle, WA; grandson, Jeremy Sandock of Chico California; nieces, Beth Sandock and Lynne Sandock Smith; and nephew, Michael Sandock. A funeral for Frank will be held at 11 AM on Monday, October 23 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave, Dover, NH, with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Dover.
