James Orrie Bethel

James Orrie Bethel, 77 of Nashua, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 24, 2023. James was born on June 26, 1946.

For many years Jim worked as a store manager at Goodyear until his retirement in 1996.

In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, spending time with his family and traveling the high seas on as many cruises as he could. Above all else Jim cherished his time spent with family and friends the most.

Jim is survived by his brother Richard Bethel from Florida, his beloved children Christopher Bethel of Lowell and Roseann Bethel of Revere, as well as his Daughter in Law Shelley. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Kayla and her husband Patrick, Ryan and his fiancé Ashley, Jessica and her fiancé Jack, Bobby, Sophea and Justin as well as 2 great grandchildren Austin “Tex” and Maisy “flowers”. He is survived by his sidekick dog JJ and cat Chloe.

He was predeceased by his parents Helen (Cardoza) and Bill Kenney as well as his sister Helen Mercadante.

He leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Jim on October 21 from 2-6pm at Nabnasset Lake Country Club, 47 Oak Hill Road, Westford, MA
