Rose Spence

Rose Spence, 96, died Monday, September 18, 2023, in Bedford, New Hampshire, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born June 20, 1927, in Nashua, New Hampshire, daughter of the late Sarkis and Maryam Derderian of Armenia. She was the loving wife of the late Harold David Spence, who died June 2, 1996.

Rose worked as a Cost Accounting Manager for Ingersoll Rand, as well as working previously at Nashua Corporation and finishing her career at NH Orthopedics.

Rose was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hollis, NH and was the Treasurer for over 25 years.

Besides her husband Harold and her parents, Rose was predeceased by her brother Harry Derderian and stepson David Spence.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Spence and his wife Katherine of Windham, NH, stepdaughter Sharon and her husband Norm Prevett of Hudson, NH, Nancy Duffy of Nashua and Lynne and her husband Bob Kostka of Kingston, MA. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 26 nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visitation will be 6-8pm, Thursday, September 28th and 6-8pm, Friday, September 29th at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock Street, Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 10am, at Faith Baptist Church in Hollis NH, 43 Wheeler Rd, Hollis, NH 03049. Burial will follow at the East Hollis Cemetery, Wheeler Rd, Hollis, NH.
