Thomas Gately

Thomas Gately, 91, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2023 in Nashua.

He was born August 18, 1932 in Somerville, MA, son of the late James and Mary (Flattery) Gately. Tom was also predeceased by his son, James Gately in 2015 as well as by his granddaughter, Linda Dugas.

Tom was an Air Force Veteran and was later employed with the FAA as an air traffic controller in Nashua. He enjoyed playing backgammon and attended weekly meetings with his PATCO friends. Tom also enjoyed traveling, especially his trips to Spain.

His loving family includes a daughter; Karen Boisvert and her husband Steven of Nashua, a daughter; Debbie Ellis of South Portland, ME, his two grandchildren; Paul Dugas of Marion, MA, and Ricky Ellis of Minnesota, a great great granddaughter; Elisabeth Dugas of Marion, MA, a brother; John Gately and his wife Ester of Watertown, MA, as well as a sister; Peggy Tighe of Lowell, MA.
