Edna ‘Kay’ Popovich

Edna “Kay” Popovich passed away peacefully in her home on September 4, 2023. She was surrounded by the love of her family for whom she has spent a lifetime looking after.
Kay led a rich, full life with her family as her driving force. Giving up a career of her own to focus on raising her family, she was the “ultimate” mom, for both her children and the neighbors who loved her. She was a self-taught seamstress, gourmet cook and artist. She was an Arthur Murray dance instructor at age 19. She had a love of history, old shows and Neil Diamond. And the hug from a grand baby always filled her heart.
Kay was born in West Virginia, where she met her high school sweetheart, Mike. They got married out of school and Mike joined the navy. They spent eight years in the service traveling the world together and starting their family. In 1966 they settled down in Nashua, NH, where they purchased a home where she would live for the rest of her days.
She leaves behind her husband, Mike, of 64 years; her daughter Michelle Curran, her daughter Elizabeth Popovich, her son Michael Popovich (wife Mary). She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Matthew Macintosh (wife Kim), Megan Marich (husband CB), Sarah Aston (husband Mark), Alan Boltin (husband Chris). As well as seven great grandchildren; Shae Macintosh, Neve Macintosh, Brody Marich, Colton Marich, Isabella Aston (born to the angels), Connor Aston, and Evelyn Aston.
She is also survived by seven brothers; Jimmy Auber and Jackie Auber (both preceded in death), Danny Auber (Lone Ranger), Tim Auber, Greg Auber, Doug Auber, and Matt Auber (baby bro)
Her life will not be forgotten, and her love will always be felt.
