Alan B. Morrison

Alan B. Morrison of Hollis, NH passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 76.

Alan is survived by his loving wife Sheryl (Morgan) Morrison of 45 years; his son Shawn Morrison and wife Andrea (Modica) Morrison and his grandchildren Trevor Morrison and Nolan Morrison, all of Bedford, NH. Alan is also survived by his brother Stephen Morrison and niece Dawn (Morrison) Zaph, her husband, Alan, and their 2 daughters. Alan was predeceased by his father Kenneth Morrison, and his mother Beatrice (Irwin) Morrison.

He was born in Manchester, CT on March 10th, 1947. After graduating from Manchester High School, Alan went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University.

Alan was a successful entrepreneur and owned several thriving businesses where he was a respected leader and mentor; all of which were a great source of pride for him. In his early years, Alan held several jobs in sales and worked as a part-time police officer for the town of Greenfield, NH.

He will be remembered by many for his passion for fast cars and fast boats. Alan had a talent for mechanical engineering and used that talent to customize his “toys.” He was the owner of Team 67 Pro Stock Racing and served as a member of the Gate City Corvette Club. When Alan wasn’t working on his many hobbies, spending time at the lake with his beloved wife and dog brought him great joy.

There will be a private Celebration of Life held in Alan’s honor. The Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium in Merrimack, NH is assisting our family.
