Louell (Perri) MacMillan
Louell (Perri) MacMillan passed away on August 22, 2023 at the Hunt Community in Nashua, NH.
She was the beloved wife of Robert E. MacMillan who died on March 18, 2007. She was born in Detroit, MI on August 3, 1926 and was the 3rd daughter of the late Ransom P. and Carrie Z. Cravens.
Louell attended Detroit schools and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She was also a lifetime member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association.
Besides being a homemaker and raising three children, she volunteered for her local church, was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a co-leader of a Girl Scout troop, and cheered on her younger son at his many Little League and Babe Ruth baseball games. She loved life, nature, and all animals, but most all she cherished her family, their gatherings and reunions which brought her much joy. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, her fiancée Harvey P. Dolliver who died in 2013, and two sisters, Joan C. Kelley and Lorece Murray.
She is survived by two sons, Leland D. MacMillan and his wife Madeline of South Bend, IN and Donald E. MacMillan and his wife Tish of Estero, FL; a daughter, Carrie J. Connell of Bradford, MA; six grandchildren, Jeff MacMillan, Adam MacMillan, Shannon Eldridge, Katherine Freedman, Andrew MacMillan, Ashley Nelson and seven great-grandchildren; she also leaves behind her dear friend, Sally-Lee Gunning.
SERVICES: As Louell wished, there will be no services. The family will gather at a later date to celebrate her life.
