Glennis Anne (Evans) Carlson, 86, died 29, June, 2023 at home in Nashua NH. She was born on October 11, 1936 in West Springfield MA, daughter of Francis and Marjorie (Adams) Evans.

She was the wife of Curtis E. Carlson. They were married on November 23, 1958 in Brattleboro VT.

Glennis Carlson embarked on a remarkable life journey, driven by her unwavering pursuit of love, knowledge, inner balance, and uplifting those around her. Her path was evident from a young age when she secured her first job at the public library in West Springfield at the tender age of 12, foreshadowing her future calling. During her time at UMass, fate intervened, and Glennis crossed paths with the love of her life, Curtis Carlson. Together, they established their family in the vibrant city of New York, where Glennis gave birth to three beloved boys. In 1968, they made the decision to settle permanently in Nashua, New Hampshire, creating a stable and nurturing environment for their growing family.

Driven by her commitment to education, Glennis obtained her public school certification at Rivier University, solidifying her dedication to serving in the Nashua Public School System. Starting as a grade 6 educator, she recognized the value of continuous personal growth and pursued a graduate degree in psychology at Assumption College. This academic achievement propelled her into a fulfilling career as a compassionate guidance counselor, touching the lives of countless students at Crowley School, Spring Street, and Pennichuck Middle School.
