Seamus Joseph McCormack

Nashua – Seamus J. McCormack, 85, of Nashua, NH passed away from medical complications June 24th at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Seamus was a loving husband to Nancy McCormack, and a devoted father to Sean, Timothy, Patrick, and Vincent McCormack, as well as to Christopher and Aaron Schultz.

Seamus is predeceased by his brother William and son Sean. He is survived by his brothers John and Brian McCormack and the families of his three brothers and sons, and their respective families.

Seamus was a raconteur with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He had a passion for music and was a talented jazz piano player. He spent a decade in Florida, where he taught organ and music theory, making many lifelong friends.

He was born and raised in Lowell, MA and spent almost nine years in the U.S. Air Force, living in Europe and in Japan before settling in Nashua, NH.

In his later years he dedicated his time at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, working for over 15 years as a volunteer in the Inpatient Rehab Unit and IT.

A veteran ceremony will be held at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
