Raymond Arthur Cusson

Raymond Arthur Cusson, 85, died peacefully at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Thursday, July 6, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine Ann (Raybine) Cusson with whom he shared 63 years of marriage prior to her passing on September 27, 2021.

Raymond was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 18, 1937 and was the son of the late Ernest and Lucienne (Lachance) Cusson. He received his education in the Nashua School System.

For many years, he was employed in manufacturing for various companies such as, Hortesh and Hubbard, Producer’s Dairy, Lowell Paper Box and Anheuser Bush until his retirement.

Raymond was an avid animal lover, a true fan of American Classic trucks and cars, and was a loyal Red Sox Fan. In his later years, he enjoyed working on board puzzles as well as word puzzles, playing cards, and never turned down a hamburger from Five Guys. Ray’s strong work ethic, his loyalty, and his dedication to his family never wavered and it is what made him such an incredible dad. He also truly cherished time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the light of his life.

Raymond is survived by his children, Sandra Murphy and her husband William of Woburn, MA, Theresa Nichols and her husband Donald of Nashua, Linda Litchfield and her husband Scott of Nashua, Janet Woollam and her husband David of Nashua, and John W. Cusson of Nashua; his eight grandchildren, Adam Covert, Britney Pinzon and her husband Fernando, Katherine Holler and her husband Billy, Megan Murphy, Sharon Hall and her husband Justin, Jennifer Adams and her husband Mike, Melody Paulsen and her husband Steve, and Cara Colby and her husband Issac. He is also survived by his 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his wife, Geraldine, his parents, Ernest and Lucienne, he was also predeceased by his sister Clair Amnotte.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raymond’s visitation on THURSDAY, July 13th from 10 AM until 11:30 AM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM His interment will take place in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua.
