Lauren Chmielecki

Lauren Chmielecki, 74, of Nashua, passed away on June 10, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born in Nashua on June 2, 1949, daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Snyder) Poor.

Lauren was very dedicated to her late husband Stanley, adored her grandchildren, and would be present at every family gathering with her unfalteringly bubbly personality. She was a foster parent for most of her adult life. Lauren enjoyed doing puzzles, camping with the family, singing (especially Neil Diamond), and doting on her pets. She also loved living at Laurel Place.

Lauren is survived by her son Michael Chmielecki and his wife Jennifer; daughter Jenny Chmielecki; sisters Leslie Jasper, and Alicia Connolly and her husband Ed; brother Brian Poor; grandchildren Alice and Zoe; and foster daughter Shannon Thompson.

She was predeceased by her husband Stanley Jr.; mother Helen (Snyder) Costaras; father Lawrence Poor; stepfather Chris Costaras; and sister Catherine Lodato.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 19th from 6:00PM-8:30PM, Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Nashua.
