John Richard Neville

John Richard Neville, 80, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Hillsborough Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He is the beloved husband of Linda (Martel) Neville with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.

John was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on November 5, 1942 and was the son of the late John Robert and Ann (Stack) Neville. He received his education in the Nashua School System and was a graduate of Nashua High School with the class of 1961.

For 40 years, he was employed as a machinist at Bronze Craft until his retirement.

John and his wife, Linda happily spent 17 years wintering in Palm Harbor, Florida where they made many memories and friendships. John was an avid sports fan, football and baseball were his favorites. He loved to cheer on the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He was a true handyman and could fix everything and anything and he truly cherished time spent with his two late dogs, Keesha and Jake. He would never turn down taking a ride with them in his truck, anything to make them happy. Above all, he loved to spend time with his family, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his two children, Kelly Trowbridge and her husband John of Hudson and Kevin Neville of Pelham; his four grandchildren, Michael Cillo, Christopher Cillo, Kimberly Cillo and Nathan Neville; his four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Cillo, Aubreyanna Cillo, Leah Cillo and Jackson Cillo. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Viveiros of Merrimack and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to John’s visitation on TUESDAY, May 30th from 4 until 7 PM at ROCHETTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. A brief prayer service will begin at 4 PM at the start of John’s visitation. Interment will take place on WEDNESDAY, May 31st at 10:30 AM in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst Street, Nashua.
