Bruce Alan Klink
Bruce Alan Klink, 67, of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully due to complications from cancer on May, 17th, 2023 at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston surrounded by his loving family and three border collies.
Bruce was born April 15, 1956 to the late Wilma (Jeanne) and Donald Klink. He is predeceased by his loving wife Suzanne Klink who passed in January of 2019 and brother John Klink who died in July of 1999.
Bruce spent his boyhood years in Hingham, Massachusetts before moving to Suffern, NY as a teenager. He graduated from Suffern High School in 1974 and enrolled at SUNY Brockport that year, where he met his soulmate and wife of 39 years, Suzanne (Vicary) Klink.
Bruce graduated with a BA in Political Science from SUNY Brockport in 1978 and in 1984 he and Suzanne moved to Nashua, NH to start a family. He resided there for the remainder of his life.
For most of his professional career Bruce worked in finance and asset management in the Greater Boston area, spending the last 20 years with the Massachusetts Housing Authority before retiring in late 2021.
Bruce was many things, a border collie enthusiast and animal lover, an artist and photographer, an accomplished college athlete, an ardent golfer, a neighbor, an American History buff, a good-natured-contrarian, a coach, a teammate, a romantic, a loving father and husband, a mentor, and a friend to many. He will be forever remembered for his affability, sardonic wit, passion for civics, love for Boston sports, gentleness with animals–especially dogs, but principally for his profound abiding love for his late wife and his two sons.
Bruce is survived by his two children, Brian and Dan Klink; his border collies, Anna, Ivy, and Roy; a sister Laurie Klink and her husband Bill Marauszwski; sister Susan Carrabis and her husband Joseph Carrabis; brother-in-law Bret Vicary and his wife Renee and their children, Travis Vicary, and Heather and Mark Liimakka; cousins Jane, Jennifer, and Michael Dougher; and a best friend of decades, Arthur Vassallo.
