Daniel N. Terrell

At 79, Daniel N. Terrell of Valrico, FL died on February 13, 2023, the husband of the love of his life Nancy (Hull) Terrell of Valrico, FL whom he married on October 30, 1965.

The son of the late Norman and Marion (Condon) Terrell, Daniel started out as a baby and was born in Lowell, MA on March 20, 1943. Daniel served with the 26th Cavalry Army National Guard during the Pre-Vietnam Era. Daniel has been a member of The CrossWay Christian Church Community in Nashua, NH since 1996.

Daniel was employed as a Field Safety Manager for a Fortune 500 company prior to retiring in 2007 after 35 years of service. After retirement, he was employed part-time as a professional driver for Student Transportation of America in Merrimack, NH. In later years, after relocating to FL, Daniel was employed by Hillel Academy in Tampa, FL. During his lifetime he also owned and operated Dan Terry Productions as Mr. D.J. professional disc jockey service. From the days of Vinyl to today’s technology, Dan’s library of 14,686 titles included genre from the 1930’s to today’s music.

Out of a deep respect for law enforcement and in memory of Sgt. Leon V. Lagasse, NPD (1943-1983), Daniel dedicated time and resources to support the men and women in blue and was a member of The Florida Sheriffs Association, supporter of The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC (nleomf.org) and the Officers Down Memorial (odmp.org)..

As credentialed travel agents, Daniel and Nancy were passionate to the cruising at sea lifestyle and cruised at least twice a year. As Diamond Plus Members of the Royal Caribbean International Crown and Anchor Society and Celebrity Cruises Captain’s Club, Nancy and Daniel traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean Islands, Europe, and Alaska. Since 1990 they annually celebrated their wedding anniversary while sailing to Caribbean ports-of-call or wherever the high seas beckoned. Daniel was also a Certified Sandals Specialist and a lifetime member of The International Freelance Photographers Organization.

Daniel is survived by his son Deric and his wife Michelle of Oceanside, CA; daughter Christina Lowe and her husband Joseph of Brandon, FL; sister-in-law Sandra Lucchesi and her husband Josh of Northfield, NJ; brother-in-law Theodore Hull, Jr. and his wife Linda of Chelmsford, MA; sister-in-law Beverly Cloutier and her husband Roger of Gardner, MA; grandchildren Xavier Terrell, Michelle Croley and her husband Grant of Oceanside, CA; as well as Heather Lowe-Garcia, her husband Steven, and daughter Evangeline of Valdosta, Georgia.

A celebration of Daniel’s life will be held at CrossWay Christian Church, 503 Main Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH 03062 on May 20, 2023 at 10:00am. Please stop by and meet Daniel’s family and friends. There will be coffee and goodies after the singing and dancing. Don’t forget, Daniel was a Disc Jockey. Daniel will be cremated and his ashes (along with Nancy’s) will be scattered in the Caribbean Sea, so don’t hang around for a viewing.
