Janet L. Grubenskas

Janet L. Grubenskas, 72 of Merrimack, NH died on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at

her home surrounded by family.

She was born in Boston, MA on October 14th, 1950, a daughter of the late

Guido and Concetta (DelTufo) Scaramozza.

Up until only a few months ago, she was employed as a waitress and bartender

at Sun Shui in Bedford. Prior to Sun Shui, Janet worked for many years with

her best friend, Florence Smokler, at Florence’s Italian restaurant in

Merrimack from its opening until its closing in 2015. When she wasn’t

working, Janet loved spending time with her grandchildren, cooking for her

family and visiting Foxwoods with family or friends.

Janet is the widow of Paul J. Grubenskas, who died in 2011. She is also

predeceased by her brother Robbie Scaramozza; and her sister Carol

Concepcion.

Surviving members of her family include three daughters, Lisa and Matt Duke

of Merrimack; Deanna and Jon Brown of Goffstown; and Lynne Grubenskas of

Merrimack; two brothers, Joseph and Richie Scaramozza; and two sisters, Rita

Scaramozza and Annette Francis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Janet is also survived by her four grandchildren; Jason Duke of Merrimack

and Evan, Madelyn and Olivia Brown of Goffstown.

Memorial calling hours will be held in chapel of the Rivet Funeral Home, 425

Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 1 – 3

PM with a brief service to follow in the funeral home chapel.
