Paula Dube Campbell

Paula Dube Campbell, 78, of Watertown, SD, died April 14, 2023 in Estelline, SD.

Paula was born in Nashua, NH to Oscar and Lucille (Beland) Dube on February 22, 1945. She grew up and lived in Wilton, New Hampshire and the surrounding towns.

She worked as a bookkeeper most of her life until a stress injury made it difficult to use her computer. She then took up a life of art, painting and jewelry making, and opened a shop called “Sophisticated Stones”. After retirement Paula moved to Dade City, Florida.

In 2013 Paula moved to Watertown, SD to be near her family.

Paula is survived by her daughter, Christine (Marlin) West; son, Mark Griffin; stepson, Jim (Jolene) Campbell Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica (Adam) Birger, Samuel (Ashley) West, Tom West and Mackenzie Moore, and William West; great-grandchildren, Travis, Emma and Zachary Birger, Gracie and Harrison West, and Marli West; and the family of AnnRae Hochheimer who adopted Paula as their mother and grandmother.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lucille Dube; sister, Pamela Parkurst; and ex-husband, James Campbell.

A memorial open house will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at 1835 Williams Dr. in Watertown, SD.
