Gertrude L. Vadney

Gertrude L. Vadney, 85, of Medford, Oregon, formerly of Milford, New Hampshire, passed away on March 17, 2023.

Gertrude was born September 16, 1937, in Greenville, New Hampshire to Phillias and Lorenza (Ricard) Vaillancourt. Gertrude worked at Pioneer Plastics for a short time in Greenville, New Hampshire. She also worked at Ames Department Store in Milford, New Hampshire. She loved working in retail.

With her family, she enjoyed camping, especially on Prince Edward Island. She enjoyed walks on the beach and watching the sunset. Her most memorable trip was traveling cross country and visiting many National Parks.

Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband Leslie C Vadney, her stepson Bruce Vadney, her parents Phillias and Lorenza Vaillancourt, and her brother Gerard Vaillancourt.

She is survived by her children and step-children, Tina Ricard of Medford, Oregon, Gerard Demers (wife Cynthia) of Rindge, New Hampshire, Francis Demers of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Tim Vadney of Tucson, Arizona, Glenn Vadney of Medford, Oregon and Pamela Golden of Essex Junction, Vermont.
