Thomas A. Taylor

Thomas A. Taylor, 76, of Derry, NH and formerly of Merrimack, NH, passed away on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after a period of declining health.

He was born in Providence, RI on September 2nd, 1946 to the late Thomas E. and Ethel (Johnson) Taylor.

Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1967 – 1970, and upon an honorable discharge, he worked as an Instructor and National Trainer for AT&T for 34 years before his retirement in 2005. After retirement, he went to work part-time in the Garden Center of the Hooksett, NH Walmart.

Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by a son, Tommy Taylor in 2016 and his sister, Meredith Wnek on February 17th, 2023.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 53 years, Noreen (Shepard) Taylor; son Arthur “B.A.” Taylor; grandson Colin Taylor along with two nephews, Christopher and Andrew Wnek.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2023 from 5 – 7 PM with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 7 PM. Burial with military honors will be held at the NH Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen on Thursday, March 23rd at 11 AM.
