Albert F. Stenta, 77, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long battle with cancer. When he passed, he was surrounded by family and his closest friends.

Al was born in Springfield, MA on November 8th, 1945 to the late Albert J. and Irene M. (Dias) Stenta. Raised in Springfield, MA, he was a graduate of Technical High School and received his Associate’s degree in Business from Springfield Technical Community College.

Before his retirement in 2008, Al worked for Chase Paymentech as a technical support consultant. After his retirement, he was employed for seven years as a driver for Tulley’s of Nashua, an experience he immensely enjoyed.

Al was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing as often as he could with his golf buddies. He greatly enjoyed traveling with his wife to numerous places including Italy and Singapore. Al especially appreciated visiting various gardens throughout the United States.

He will be forever loved by his wife of 56½ years, Vesta (Blair) Stenta; three children, Gregory Stenta of Singapore, Geoffrey Stenta and his wife Catherine of Merrimack, and Nicholas Stenta of Arkansas; two granddaughters; two siblings, Michael Stenta and his wife Audleena of Georgia, and Sharlene and her husband Richard Clark of Massachusetts along with several nieces and nephews, as well as his closest friend, James Geraghty and his wife Susan of Bridgewater.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
