Mary Page (Kerwin) Lockridge passed away February 21, 2023. She was surrounded in her final days by her children and close friends, as well as the third floor staff at Langdon Place of Nashua, who helped to care for her and came to love her in her last years.
Mary was born on December 23, 1930 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Elsie Page (Durrant) Kerwin and James Patrick Kerwin. Mary attended the MacDonald Institute at Ontario Agricultural College where she met her future husband, Thomas John Lockridge, who was studying at the neighboring Ontario Veterinary College (now the University of Guelph). Upon graduation, Mary and Tom married and emigrated to Manchester, New Hampshire where Mary later worked as a dietician for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
Mary and Tom spent 51 years together raising their six children. The couple ultimately established Lockridge Animal Hospital, where Mary ran the office until their retirement in 1996.
Mary is pre-deceased by her parents and husband and is survived by her six children: Myra (Geoff) Becker of Lafayette, California, Mary (Neil) Johnson of Mansfield, Massachusetts, James (Joanne) Lockridge of Trumbull, Connecticut, Teresa Lockridge of Seattle, Washington, Sheila (William) Maher of Uxbridge, Massachusetts and John (Kelley) Lockridge of Nashua, New Hampshire. Mary also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a niece, Judi McCammon, a nephew, Andrew Lockridge, both of Canada, as well as dear friends Gail Durant and Paul Nadeau of Manchester, New Hampshire.
A memorial service and private burial will take place at a later date.
