Neal JG Stephany of Nashua, NH died February 20, 2023 at Spaulding Rehabilitation in Allston, MA.
He was born in Fond du Lac, WI to the late Lloyd and Bernice (Koenigs) Stephany on March 22, 1950, and spent his formative years in Green Bay, WI.
He graduated from the University of WI with a BS in 1972, and later went on to earn an MBA from UNH in 1991. Neal’s career was spent primarily in Healthcare Administration, and after nearly 20 years in the dialysis industry he found his perfect fit working with Pediatric Healthcare Associates of Peabody where he retired in 2017.
Neal was never one to sit around and enjoyed being active. He transitioned from running, after participation in many marathons, to cycling, but also enjoyed skiing, hiking, and traveling. He especially looked forward to his twice weekly gym workouts with trainer Nick who was instrumental in keeping him physically strong for as long as possible. His idea of the perfect vacation was exploring new places through cycling.
Neal was a quiet person who didn’t have a mean bone in his body and was always one to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed traveling with good friends and family, a good IPA, and Kroll’s hamburgers in Green Bay. His only real regret was missing the opportunity to watch the grandkids, Graham, Ellery and Ben, grow up.
Neal was predeceased by his parents and brother-in-law Robert Trimmier.
Neal leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) (Liebmann) Stephany, daughter Sarah Bushold and husband Aaron of Natick, MA, son Ryan Stephany and wife Shelly Dionne of Dover, NH, grandchildren Graham and Ellery Bushold and Benjamin Stephany, sister Sheila Goemans and husband Gary of North Prairie, WI, brother Mark Stephany and wife Sherri of Green Bay, WI, sister Mary Trimmier of Milwaukee, WI, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rochette Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Nashua, NH, are assisting the family. There are no calling hours, but a celebration of Neal’s life is planned. Please reach out to family or friends for details.
